  1. It's shocking that the defending Super Bowl champions--even 0-1, even on the road at 1-0 Green Bay--were 11-point underdogs for this game.

  6. Green Bay began building its current generation of defense in NFL77 with the first-round draft choice of Gary Jeter. The former Southern Cal star was the second overall selection. The Packers' DT2 had three sacks in this game--including the game-ender with Detroit inside Green Bay's 30.
