Minnesota at Tampa Bay

For the past few seasons Tampa Bay seemed to be on the verge of breaking through, the way the Packers did last season, but so far their improved play hasn't netted them a lot of wins.  It did, howerver, net them the number one pick in the draft wher they took Rich Campbell a quarterback out of California.  Everyone knows they have been needing a quarterback, not everyone is sure a rookie is the answer to turning things around.  As things stand right now Steve Spurrier, in his 15th season, still has the starting job.  While everyone was looking for the Bucs to surge in 1980, everyone was looking for the Vikings to collapse.  But they still fought for a playoff spot, and now many are starting to wonder if they'll be able to rebuild while never truly falling to the bottom.  They are turning to 4th year Mike Rieker at quarterback, which is a big enough change, but it's their defense that seems fairly young all of a sudden.  How well their young guys do on defense will probably determine how well the Vikings are able to bounce back and compete once again for the Division title.
