St. Louis 37 at Philadelphia 55

An odd game to say the least.  I'm sure if anyone had told the Cardinals they would have 529 total net yards of offense and score 37 points they would assume it meant a win, but that's not the case.  Ricky Bell alone almost outscored the Cardinals, an incredible game for Bell.  The other bad news for the Cardinals is that their starting quarterback was taken off of the field on a stretcher.  Mike Phipps filled in and played will, but without Hart no one is expecting this team to do much.

Philadelphia

Ted Watts 11 tackles
Frank LeMaster 5 tackles 1 fumble recovery

St. Louis
Jim Hart 14/20 312yds 2TDs
Mike Phipps 10/19 152yds 2TDs
Terry Metcalf 13car/77yds
Ike Harris 9tt/5rec/88yds

  1. The Eagles' first-round draft choice, Watts, certainly was challenged today.
