The game was touted as being a matchup between running backs Billy Sims and Benny Malone, but both backs were shut down early and the pressure quickly turned on the veteran quarterbacks. Bob Griese responded with a brilliant game that Bert Jones simply couldn't match facing one of the top defenses in the league. A dominating win for the Dolphins who seem to be on their way to repeating as AFC champs.
