This was not the opening game Marv Levy invisioned for his new starting quarterback. Despite racking up a lot of yards, the Broncos failed on offense because of turnovers. The Chiefs on the other hand will have to be happy with their opener. They managed to get off to a strong start on offense, and though their defense gave up a lot of yards they forced turnovers and played a crucial part in the win.
