Both of these teams showed great improvement last season. The Packers won the Central Division, but the Packers have one great problem, their offense, and no one feels like they did anything to improve their offense in the offseason. Now perhaps the management sees potential there that everyone else is missing, but without improvement to their offense it is hard to imagine the Packers ever getting deeper than the second round of the playoffs, no matter how good their defense is. The Bears were in a similar boat last season. Their defense really carried them to an improved record, but they weren't that good and with no offense to speak of everyone was looking for them to make some big changes in the offense during the offseason. But like the Packers they focused on their defense. It's hard to imagine they made enough changes to improve much over their performance of last season.
