Richie Szaro, who "excelled in both soccer and football at Harvard where he was a hard-running halfback," his 1977 card says, had two field goals in his first NFL game after the Saints signed him as a free agent in 1975 (after both the Raiders and Eagles had passed). The second of those boots was the game's final play and propelled New Orleans to a 20-19 win over the Green Bay Packers. "A solid athlete, he's a tough tackler as safetyman on kickoff situations."
