Did you know ...?

All data from the players' 1982 Topps cards:

Bears G Noah Jackson "holds the distinction of being one of a select few players to have started playoff games in the Canadian Football League and the NFL. He played 3 seasons with the Toronto Argonauts before entering NFL with the Baltimore Colts."

Bears LB Jerry Robinson: "At UCLA he was college football's 1st 3-time All-Ameircan since Doak Walker (1947-1949). Extremely quick and agile."

Bucs CB Mike Washington: "Mike's height (6-3) is an asset to preventing the deep pass."

Bengals T Chris Ward: "At Ohio State, Chris played 1049 minutes in 44 games, more than any other player in the history of the school."

Seahawks T Marvin Powell: "One of his biggest assets is his dedication to his work. He's always watching films and is truly a student of the game."

Colts WR Roger Carr: "Roger's first 2 Colt receptions went for 90 and 89-yard TD's" in 1974.

Browns T Doug Dieken: "Doug moves into his 12th pro season with a 153-game string of consecutive starting assignments at offensive left tackle for the Browns. He has the ability to 'absorb' a defensive player, to stay in front of him. Doug is also smart. He studies the opponent and has great finesse. Doug is durable and plays despite nagging injuries."

Browns C Tom DeLeone: "Patience, hard work and total dedication have combined with natural ability to bring Tom to the point where he is recognized as one of the finest centers in pro football. Quiet confidence has marked Tom's progress since he became a regular in 1975."

Browns DE Art Still: "Art was Southeastern Conference Player of the Year in 1977" at the University of Kentucky.

Browns P Chuck Ramsey: "Began punting without a shoe in 1979 and his average increased."
