Big plays--Guy Frazier's fumble recovery with the Eagles only 16 yards from paydirt, Fred Nixon's fumble recovery on a kickoff return and Harvey Martin's block of an extra point--have keyed the Cowboys' surge to a 16-6 halftime lead. But Dallas has sustained a devastating injury, with DT1 Randy White carted off the field to undergo X-rays.

  2. Philadelphia has invested heavily in recent drafts to upgrade its defensive secondary, and, indeed, NFL82 followers generally agree it's a unit on the upswing. But, alas, the Eagles have no counter for Dallas's Drew Pearson at least in this game.
