  1. Here's the type of mistake that Kansas City will need to elicit from star-on-the-rise Evans ...

New YorkAFC's ball on Kansas City's 25 yard line. Third and just over 7 to go. 8:27 left in the first quarter. The score is New YorkAFC 0, Kansas City 0.

The pass from New YorkAFC's QB1 #1 Vince Evans is intercepted by Kansas City's DT2 #64 Johnny Robinson and returned for a gain of just over 16 yards. Robinson is tackled by G1 #66 Gary Puetz. First down, Kansas City! First and 10 to go. That was 46ZdragB (326) against OB43m045 (326).

  2. It should be noted that the Chiefs' rookie DT2, Johnny Robinson, is no relation to former their former All-Pro safety, Johnny Robinson--though, coincidentally, both are Louisiana natives.

The rookie Robinson's interception recalls the terrific stat that the Chiefs were 35-1-1 in games in which the former safety Robinson intercepted a pass.

  4. The Kansas City defense has been fantastic so far in this one.
