  1. Some in the national media are casting this matchup as a story of, "Are the Steelers for real?" The game is only kicking off now, but here's the answer to that question: Yes. Pittsburgh's roster is still heavy with players who won two Super Bowls and competed in a third during the last decade, and, since then, they've added two of the NFL's best linebackers, in Lawrence Taylor and Mike Hunt. At the same time, the Steelers will be playing on the home field of another former Super Bowl champion who is fighting desperately for its post-season life. A win or loss today will render neither of these fine teams a "pretender."
