The Falcons almost came back and stole this one from the Vikings. This win gets the Vikings back to a .500 record. I had written off the Vikings even before the season began so I find it quite amazing that they are in the playoff race. The Falcons had a rough game at quarterback. Guy Benjamin got knocked out of the game after scrambling for yardage. He's out for the rest of the year. Kim McQuilken got hurt later in the game and he is probable for next week. That may leave Marc Wilson as the starter. It was just a few years ago that Atlanta lost their starting quarterback to a career ending injury and there is much concern over the injury sustained by Benjamin, it looked very serious.
